Naming license
Legal instrument granting exclusive rights to the chosen name for commercial use in the designated category. Issued as a formal license document with term, scope, and renewal provisions.
Seed record and provenance
Physical seed archive with full chain of custody. The seed record is the ultimate backstop: it establishes that the named construct exists as a real, reproducible biological entity.
Priority access to amendments
The named cultivar can be refined over time. Licensed amendments — a modified growing protocol, a cross with a performance construct — are offered to the name holder first, before catalog release.
