Abstract
Simultaneous activation of the TAS1R2/TAS1R3 sweet taste receptor axis and the TRPV1 heat receptor axis through brazzein co-expression and capsaicinoid pathway engineering. Demonstrates that IFI-H (heat) and IFI-S (sweetness) constructs are compatible in the same host tissue, producing cultivars with a biphasic sweet-then-heat sensory profile measurable on the Iyengar Flavor Index. PDF and full construct specifications in preparation.
